well if you mean don’t talk to strangers as in other unknown adults that
seem nice but are trying to take children then it makes sense but if you
mean don;t talk to anyone you don;t know not even a kid then good luck
    getting friends lol

I still have social anxiety because of the emphasis on not talking to
strangers that I was raised with. I’m terrified of strangers, I’m scared of
most men in particular because of hearing things about men taking girls and
“doing bad things”, I’m a SHY EXTROVERT. I used to be afraid of mannequins
because I thought they counted as strangers. I can’t even order something
by myself without being scared that someone will start yelling at me
    (verbal abuse).
Now you tell me that the more emphasis on stranger danger, the safer your
child is. Because I’ve lived almost my entire life terrified of people and
sure as heck don’t feel “safe”.
There’s such a thing as “balance” and a time to let kids start being more
open. Don’t give out personal information, don’t go with them, don’t let
them touch you, don’t accept food from them, don’t answer the door (though,
why this kid was home alone, I don’t know). Those are the general
guidelines. Being terrified of everyone you meet and running away when they
speak is a sticky habit and psychologically scarring. If you aren’t
careful, your kid might suffer from that in the future. Just saying.

To Master Notsobright who puts WTF on a childrens song page (issues?) I am
not at all surprised you give opposing advice to a generations of innocence
and vulnerability. cont…Any other advice puts the child in danger,
especially in a world of Child abusers, rapists, pornography, sick parents
and family, murderers, and now, an ever-growing industry of sex slave
trade. I think you should think more seriously about the reality of the
world we live in. That is TRUTH.

To Master Ferretfu2: Really, strangers aren’t that bad. Are you a parent?
Have you lost a child to ABDUCTION? Had a child be molested by a STRANGER?
Had a child be verbally bashed by a STRANGER? There really is no reason
that a child should be approached by or talking to a stranger without a
parent, guardian, or adult present with them. Any adult who thinks
otherwise has not weighed the reality of the consequences of doing the
    opposite.

Wtf are strangers going to when you talk to them take your oxygen away
strangers aren’t all that bad there are about 7 billion of them

What a tool you are! I take it you obviously don’t have children or know
    anything about education!

Umm so your saying that I should not talk to strangers? Because for you to
get friends you have to talk to strangers/people.

Anyone that responds negatively to this video must not have children or
should not…thanks you for this video ….I was seeking out some safety
videos to teach my child about stranger danger, putting it in a song will
help to remember as well. Thanks Again!!
