AISD parent arrested for inappropriately touching 10-year-old girl

An Austin man is behind bars after police say he inappropriately touched a 10-year-old girl at a South Austin elementary school.
On October 14th, Austin ISD police responded to the Allison Elementary School located at 515 Vargas Rd. after the school principal notified police an adult had inappropriately touch a child on campus.
Upon arrival, the victim, identified as a 10-year-old girl, told officers a “parent” had touched her on her breast/chest as she was walking in front of the main hallway of the school campus around 7:00a.m. that day.
Surveillance video confirmed the little girl’s claim. The tape showed the suspect reaching out and touching the girl on the chest with his left arm.
The affidavit says after the girl walked past him, she turned to look back at him. The suspect smiled and laughed at her.
The man was identified as Florencio Felix Barron.
Barron was charged with indecency with a child (sexual contact), a 2nd-degree felony.
His bond was set to $25.000.
