Baby Hospitalized After Child Abuse Call In Stevenson Ranch | #childabuse | #children | #kids

An infant was sent to the hospital Saturday after an alleged child abuse call in Stevenson Ranch, officials said.

Around 3:20 p.m. Saturday, emergency responders received a call for a medical emergency at a hotel in Stevenson Ranch, on the 25300 block of The Old Road, according to Cheryl Sims, dispatch supervisor with the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

“We are responding to (a child endangerment) call,” said Sgt. Craft with the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.

Although deputies are responding, at the time of the publication of this article Sheriff’s officials can not provide any other information on the incident.

“We did transport one person to the hospital,” Sims said.

The patient was an infant, according to officials on scene.

The condition of the patient is unknown as of Saturday afternoon, according to Fire officials.

The incident remains under investigation as of 3:40 p.m. Saturday.
