According to the night’s draft agenda, the meeting will feature diversity committee updates along with a discussion of benchmarks.
During the last meeting, Board President Doug Reinstein said student progress and benchmarking would be a main topic of the Nov.12 Berkeley Heights Board of Education meeting.
The Board of Education has announced that the location for Thursday’s Combined Conference and Regular Meeting has changed. Board of Education members will be meeting at Governor Livingston High School, 175 Watchung Avenue, Berkeley Heights, NJ. Executive Session will begin at 7 p.m., and the Public session will begin at 7:30 p.m.
In accordance with the Open Public Meetings Act, and in consideration of the Executive Order No. 173 issued by Governor Murphy, the Berkeley Heights Board of Education does hereby notify the public that to protect the health, safety and welfare of the community, while ensuring the continued functioning of the Board, the meeting will be held in person and via ZOOM. To comply with social distancing, only members of the Board will be physically present at the meeting.
