Bossier City man charged with 100 counts of possessing child porn

A Bossier City man is behind bars at Bossier Max, charged with 100 counts of possession of child pornography.

According to the Bossier Sheriff’s Office, 61-year-old Anthony “Tony” H. Martin was arrested Tuesday on a warrant that was the culmination of an investigation that began in late November.

Investigators say that investigation led to the discovery of more than 1,000 images on electronic software storage, which they seized from his home in the 900 block of Princeton Road while executing a search warrant on Nov. 24.

NCMEC (National Center for Missing and Exploited Children) reported at least 100 of those photos are known child victims of sexual abuse and exploitation, authorities say.

The Bossier City Marshal’s Office and the Bossier City Police Department assisted Bossier Sheriff’s Office investigators in this case.

The Marshal’s Office continues to assist in the investigation with the forensics investigation of several computers and hard drives also seized in the search warrant.

Martin was booked into the Bossier Maximum Security Facility and faces a $200,000 bond.

More charges are expected as the investigation continues.

Detectives are asking anyone who may have any information about this case to contact Bossier Parish Sheriff’s Office Investigations at 318-965-3418 or 965-2203.
