#ChildMolester | Teen Arrested For Doing ‘Doughnuts’ In Ford Mustang In Canyon Country

A man was arrested Tuesday after reportedly doing “doughnuts” in a Ford Mustang in a Canyon Country neighborhood, officials said.

Deputies were monitoring for unsafe driving after community members alerted the traffic office of possible illegal speed contests in Canyon Country, said Shirley Miller, spokesperson for the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.

Around 9 p.m. on Tuesday, a deputy in the area of Centre Pointe Parkway and Spirit Court heard the sound of a revving engine and screeching of tires, according to officials.

“When the deputy investigated the source of the sound, he observed a vehicle with smoke coming from the tire ‘doing ‘doughnuts’ in the cul-de-sac,” Miller said.

The driver reportedly told the deputy “he just wanted to see what the car could do.”

Samuel Estrada-Hernandez, 18, from Sylmar, was arrested on a misdemeanor charge of exhibition of speed, and also had his Ford Mustang towed and impounded for 30 days, Miller added.

Estrada-Hernandez was arrested and transported to the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station jail.
