#ChildMolester | Tenn. mother charged with child abuse after 13-year-old disabled son found dead in home
CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (TCD) — A 32-year-old mother faces child abuse charges in connection with the death of her 13-year-old disabled son. According to a news release from the Clarksville Police Department, on July 6 at approximately 1:10 p.m., officers responded to a Virginia Terrace home, where they found the juvenile, Kadaris Maddox, deceased. Following an August session of a Montgomery County Grand Jury, police said an indictment was issued for Cheyenne Maddox. She was reportedly arrested and booked into Montgomery County Jail on $75,000 bond for aggravated child abuse/neglect/endangerment of a child. According to WKRN-TV, the victim had cerebral palsy. At the time of the juvenile’s discovery, Cheyenne Maddox was facing five counts of child abuse for other children in the home, WKRN reports.
