#childmolestor | Bellingham sex offender arrested for kidnap, rape of teen

BELLINGHAM, Wash. — A known sex offender has been arrested for kidnapping and several counts of rape after a teenager was found being kept against her will at the man’s shack in Bellingham.

Whatcom County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called for a welfare check to a residence in the 4700 block of North King Mountain Road after a girl called 9-1-1 and said she “just needed to go home” before hanging up.

When Deputies responded to the residence of 39-year-old Darrin Moseley, a 16-year-old girl ran out of a small shack on Moseley’s property and asked deputies to take her home.

The sheriff’s office says Moseley admitted to giving the teen alcohol and marijuana and sexually assaulting her.

Moseley was booked into Whatcom County Jail on charges of kidnapping, felony harassment, and multiple counts of rape.
