Daniel Farmer, 26, is wanted by Merseyside Police for breaching his licence conditions after being released from prison.
He is said to speak with a Manchester accent and has links to the city, as well as Liverpool, Wirral, Cheshire and Carlisle.
Farmer also has a number of distinctive tattoos.
They include ‘Christiana’ and ‘nana’ on the left side of his neck, and ‘Mum’ on the right side of his neck.

He was released after serving a jail sentence for possessing a hammer at the Royal Liverpool hospital.
The Liverpool Echo reported that Farmer, formerly of Coleridge Street, Kensington, was captured on CCTV brandishing a claw hammer in a waiting room at the hospital.
After being released on bail, Farmer stole a £150 watch from a man at Manchester’s Pride event.
He has a number of previous convictions, including for burglary, robbery and arson.
Farmer was also convicted of sexual assault, engaging in sexual activity with a girl in 2011 and inciting a girl to engage in sexual activity in February 2012.
