#childmolestor | Superior police alert community to sex offender release

A convicted sex offender will be moving into a residence on the 1600 block of North 16th Street in Superior Friday, July 17, according to a community notification release from Assistant Police Chief John Kiel.

Christopher Stephens, 32, pleaded no contest in Douglas County Circuit Court in January 2018 to five counts of possession of child pornography. He will remain under supervision by local probation agents. Stephens has been ordered to have no unsupervised contact with minors, no contact with the victim and not to consume drugs. He must comply with sex offender rules and cooperate with electronic monitoring.

Stephens is 5’9” tall and weighs 174 pounds with blue eyes and brown hair, according to the release.
