A South Carolina couple has been arrested across state lines in North Carolina and charged with the May death of their 5-month-old baby, the Chester County Sheriff’s Office announced Friday.

Natricia Wright, 21, and Shederick Gallman, 22, “committed homicide by child abuse and/or neglect” between December 4, 2019, and  May 20, 2020, when the infant boy was found dead at a home in Eureka Mill, WBTV reported quoting the arrest warrant.

“The death occurred under circumstances manifesting an extreme indifference to human life by failing to provide adequate food, or health care resulting in the child suffering chronic malnutrition,” the arrest warrant says.
