#childsafety | An Entirely To-Go Diner Opens In Merrick

MERRICK, NY — Seemingly built for 2020, Diner Boys — a take-out only diner — recently opened its doors in Merrick.

Work on the restaurant, which is located at 2221 Jerusalem Ave. in Merrick, began last year. But the restaurant finally held its grand opening in mid-September, making it perfectly poised to cater to the growing to-go market created by the coronavirus.

The Diner Boys has a menu just as expansive as any traditional Long Island diner. There are a multitude of burgers and sandwiches, salads and full entrees, and, of course, breakfast. The diner also has many vegan selections available.

However, The Diner Boys differs from a traditional diner in that all of the food is prepared to go. Customers either pick it up in the storefront, or can have it delivered. You can’t dine in the restaurant.

The Diner Boys is open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday, from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday. You can learn more and see the full menu at The Diner Boys website.
