  • Santa Claus is coming to town! Port Jefferson Santa Parade this month!
  • Heroes will be honored today on Broadway in Port Jefferson.
  • Staller center released the Spring schedule and more!

But first, today’s weather:

Here are the top four stories in Port Jefferson today:

  1. Santa Claus is coming to Port Jefferson on Nov. 27! The traditional parade that attracts residents and visitors of all ages will start at 3:30 p.m. coming from Port Jefferson LLRR station and marching down Main Street to the Village Center, where St. Nick will be available for photo opportunities.   2. Veterans Day ceremony in Port Jefferson is at 11 a.m. at Veterans Memorial Park on East Broadway. American Legion Wilson Ritch Post 432 organizes the event and invites the community to join the observance in honor of those who served. (TBR News Media)
  3. Staller Center released its schedule of events for the Spring 2023 Season. Tickets are on sale for the season that starts in January and goes through May. Kevin James, known as the King of Long Island, will open the season on Jan. 27-28. (Stony Brook News)
  4. The first day of the Polar Express Experience at the Port Jefferson Station/Terryville Train Car kicks off on Saturday, Nov. 19, at noon. Tickets are limited to thirty attendees per session, so if you like to watch the classic production while enjoying hot chocolate and cookies, hurry up and purchase your tickets today. (PJST CofC)

  • President of autism charity, Gregory Vasicek, is facing charges for defrauding Adventureland and other businesses. According to the police is accused of collecting money for golf fundraisers that never happened. (LI News12)
  • Fall Restaurant Week is still sizzling in Port Jefferson. Fifth Season, Nantuckets, Pasta Pasta, and Ruvo’s are offering Prix-Prixe until Nov. 13. (Port Jefferson CofC)
  • Free child safety seat checks will be given on Dec. 3 from 8 a.m. at Safety Town, 249 Buckley Road in Holtsville. Come to double-check how safe your little ones are while traveling in the car. (Town of Brookhaven)
