Syracuse University police are “deeply concerned” about the safety of a senior at university who has been missing for six days, they said in a news release.

Allan Gonzalez, 22, a senior at the College of Engineering and Computer Science, has been missing since Jan. 18, according to Syracuse’s Department of Public Safety.

He was last seen at 1223 James St. and may have taken an Uber to Armory Square or Al’s Whiskey & Wine Bar, according to Syracuse police.

“No one has heard form him since,” university police said. “We are deeply concerned about his safety and well-being.”

Police described Gonzalez as 5-feet, 11-inches tall and weighing 175 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes. He lives off campus, police said.

They ask that anyone with information about Gonzalez’s whereabouts call the Syracuse Police Department, who is handling the investigation, at 315-442-5222.
