Conroe man suspected of sexually assaulting multiple teens | #socialmedia | #children

A man is behind bars and accused of raping a 15-year-old in Montgomery County as authorities declare they have identified other victims he met on social media.

Markanthony Ryan Doyle, 21, of Conroe, is charged with sexual assault of a child and sexual performance by a child, both second-degree felonies, according to county court and jail records.

“During the investigation, detectives learned Markanthony (Doyle) allegedly used social media to lure underage girls to meet with him and identified several teenage victims of sexual assault,” read a Friday morning statement from the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.

On Dec. 10, a sheriff’s deputy answered a call about a possible kidnapping out of Splendora. A 15-year-old girl told her parents she had been sexually assaulted. The parent had seen the girl enter a gold four-door passenger car with a male who drove off, according to a probable cause affidavit filed by a sheriff’s detective.

An attempt-to-locate dispatch led to Doyle being detained. Doyle, asserting the girl was 17, told the detective he had sexual relations with her three times, including at a park in Magnolia and that same night. Doyle also showed the detective video of himself engaged in sexual relations with the girl, according to the affidavit.

On Jan. 25, the girl spoke with a forensics investigator at the Children’s Safe Harbor Advocacy Center. She said she thought she was meeting up with someone else but instead found Doyle who forcibly grabbed and “threw” her into the car, forcing her to perform oral sex, according to court documents.

The girl’s parent’s appearance provoked Doyle to drive off with the girl still in the car. Doyle then raped the girl before dropping her off at her home, court records show.
