10/06/2020 Information – Officer responded to the Safe Office, of Pullen Hall in reference to a request for officer complaint. Upon arrival the officer met by complainant who advised an unknown person had entered his locked office. The complainant preferred the incident to be “information only” at this time.

10/06/2020 Theft-Misdemeanor – Request for Officer. FSU student came into HQS and spoke to an officer about filing a police report for a claim on eBay.

10/06/2020 Traffic Stop – Conducted a traffic stop on Bowery Street and issued the operator one warning for failing to stop at a stop sign.

10/06/2020 Traffic Stop – Conducted a traffic stop on University Drive and issued the operator one warning for failing to drive with lamps illuminated in unfavorable conditions.

10/06/2020 Maintenance Complaint – Contact was made to the UPD requesting maintenance for an overflowing sink in Frederick Hall.

10/07/2020 Assist Other Agency – Responded to College Avenue to assist FPD with a disturbance. A male was observed engaged in a physical altercation with a female. Neither involved were current FSU students.

10/07/2020 Maintenance Complaint – (Frederick Hall) UPD was contacted requesting maintenance for a lock.

10/07/2020 Maintenance Complaint – (New Residence Hall) UPD was contacted requesting maintenance for being unable to unlock a room with the regular key or master key.

10/09/2020 Maintenance Complaint – Received a call to report the walk-in freezer in the main kitchen area in the Chesapeake Dinning Hall was not working properly. Tour engineer was contacted.

10/09/2020 Damage to State Vehicle – FSU mechanic walked into FSUPD to report damage to a state vehicle. FSU Motor Vehicle Accident form to be completed.

10/09/2020 CDS – A call was received to report an odor of CDS on the first floor of Simpson Hall. Officer responded and noticed the smell of CDS but could not locate a specific room from which is was coming.

10/09/2020 Request for Officer – Request for an officer at the stadium lot regarding an individual who refused to leave. Officers arrived and talked to the individual who was then escorted off the track.

10/09/2020 Traffic Stop – A vehicle was traveling south on Bowery Street; the driver was observed not wearing his safety belt. A warning for not wearing his seatbelt was issued.

10/09/2020 TIPS – Tips Hotline- 1908 – Party scheduled on Maple St. City police was informed.

10/09/2020 Breaking and Enter – Caller from Frederick Hall returned to her room to find an unknown male sitting at her desk. Officer responded. A check of the Ocularis camera system did not yield any possible suspects.

10/10/2020 Information – A parent called Frostburg State University Police Headquarters to advise that his son, who resides in the New Residence Hall, experienced an issue with his neighbor entering his residence. As a result of the investigation a Judicial Board referral was submitted.

10/11/2020 Alcohol Violation – Officer was dispatched to Annapolis Hall for a report of a party causing excessive noise. Six individuals were observed in the room, which exceeded the FSU policy mandated amount of two. The resident advised that he was hosting a party in the room and had been consuming alcoholic beverages. All occupants were advised of the FSU rules regarding mask usage and occupancy limits. They were further advised not to consume alcoholic beverages under the age of 21 years old. They were notified that they would be receiving a referral to the Judicial Board for sanctions.

10/12/2020 Assist Other Agency (FPD) – Assisted with a disturbance at 201 University Drive. Two individuals, one FSU and one ACM student, involved in a verbal argument, no physical assault occurred.

Summary period includes 104 calls for service and 6 Traffic Stops.
