#cyberbullying | #cyberbully | Ciaran Martin webinar

The founding CEO of the National Cyber Security Centre (the UK official NCSC, a part of GCHQ), Ciaran Martin, is speaking at a webinar for the Scottish Business Resilience Centre (SBRC).

In one of his first engagements with a Scottish audience since stepping down from leading the NCSC, the Northern Irishman, who’s recently stepped down from the NCSC and entered academia, will speak at 10am on Wednesday, October 7. His hour-long session will explore the practical steps that businesses can take to ensure systems are equipped to prevent a potential cyber-attack.

Jude McCorry, pictured, CEO of the Scottish Business Resilience Centre said: “The last thing any business needs right now is a debilitating cyber-attack, yet predatory criminals are, right now, thinking of new ways to upend business flow. With his experience leading the UK Government’s computer security threat body, Martin’s insights will really be of practical use to businesses, and help protect our organisations from external cyber threats.

“Since our Scottish Business Cares webinar series launched earlier this year, we have welcomed an enviable list of speakers who have looked to inform and support businesses across the whole of Scotland. We are thrilled to welcome Ciaran to our series.”
