Denver police ask public for help in search for child abuse suspect Juan Cervantes

DENVER – Denver police are asking for help locating a child abuse suspect.

Juan Cervantes, 32, is wanted on charges of child abuse resulting in serious bodily injury, and a parole violation for larceny, according to the Denver Police Department.

Officers said Cervantes has an extensive criminal history, which includes aggravated robbery and menacing.

He was described as being 5-feet-11 inches tall, 205 pounds and is known to stay in the 1400 block of Knox Court, or the 1100 block of South Raritan Street.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts is urged to call Metro Denver Crime Stoppers at 720-913-STOP (7867). You may also text your tip to 274637 (CRIMES) and then use the title DMCS and enter your message. Tipsters may remain anonymous and be eligible for a reward of up to $2,000.
