Pennsylvania’s General Election is coming Nov. 3. Sen. Carolyn Comitta (D-19th) is seeking re-election in State Senate District 19, which covers a swath of Chester County from London Grove through West Chester, Malvern, and Phoenixville.

Why are you seeking elective office?: I enjoy the work I do. I also am working hard to create a healthier future for our children.

This is what I intend to do about it: I am an environmental champion. I have advocated long and hard for moving toward more sustainable energies as soon as possible and making sure everyone has the right to clean air and clean water.

What are the critical differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?: We differ on the issues of women’s rights and commonsense gun legislation.
