NAPLES, Fla. – A 14-year-old student at Gulf Coast High School was arrested Tuesday accused of threatening a mass shooting, according to the Collier County Sheriff’s Office.

Adam Peckfedler is accused of using a school-issued computer to make threats against the school, students, and teachers, deputies said.

Investigators said the 14-year-old threatened a school shooting and specifically targeted a teacher after school staff discovered the written threats and alerted deputies.

He is facing a charge of intimidation for sending a written threat to carry out a mass shooting
