Hunger Games Series Kicks Off Aug. 26 | #students | #parents

University Programs kicks off a Hunger Games movie series at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 26, in the Arkansas Union Theatre on the fourth floor of the Arkansas Union.

See the movie that kicks off the entire series. Hunger Games heroine Katniss Everdeen voluntarily takes her younger sister’s place in the Hunger Games: a televised competition in which two teenagers from each of the 12 Districts of Panem are chosen at random to fight to the death.

Additional movies in the series include Hunger Games: Catching Fire at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 30; Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 28; and Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 9.

COVID-19 precautions for this event: Wear a face covering; maintain 6 feet social distancing; wash your hands or use hand sanitizer. Please do not attend if you are sick.
