Doctors say you should cut down on screen time before bed, and avoid using devices at least an hour before you go to sleep. Now a new study says teens who use their phones late at night are more likely to suffer from poor sleep, increased depression and aggressive behavior, lower self-esteem, and a lower ability to cope with stress. The study of 1,101 Australian high school students aged 13 to 16 found that nearly 80 percent used their phones to text or take calls late into the night. Sleep plays an important role in your health and well-being, and a few small changes in your bedtime routine can make a big difference in how you feel.
