recently earned a national award at the annual conference of the City Mom Collective, the nation’s largest collection of hyperlocal mom influencers.

Fargo Mom owner Kathy Schommer accepted the Integrity award, a top honor she earned for her strong ethical and moral principles, which guide her work for Fargo Mom, according to a press release.

“It is truly an honor and a privilege to be able to bring Fargo Mom to our local community and to connect all moms both virtually and in-person to share in the ups and downs of motherhood,” Schommer said in the release. “Our mission is to provide relevant resources, build connections, and to make motherhood feel a little less lonely for every mom, and I am so proud of the work our team does each and every day to make that happen.”

Fargo Mom is one of more than 70 independently owned websites under the City Mom Collective.

Fargo Mom was one of five nominees for the Integrity award.
