It will house the Parenting Resource Center and its Michael H. Seibel Family Visitation & Exchange Center along with the nonprofit agencies of The Welcome Center and Children’s Dental Health Services.
The Austin Community Action Building will also increase community partnerships and enhance access to services for bicultural and bilingual individuals.
“We know that there is support needed for families to have this expansion, it will help us meet our community needs at this time and also bridge resources. Bring resources together so that we can have a one-stop-shop,” Parenting Resource Center Executive Director Gema Alvarado-Guerrero said.
Construction is expected to begin this fall with the new facility open to the public in 2022.
