Kristina Heinold, an incumbent, is married to George Heinold, and they have 4 children, ranging from 4th grade to 9th grade. Mrs. Heinold holds her Bachelor of Science degree majoring in Finance from Villanova University. She has worked at Novartis Pharmaceuticals for the past 21 years with various positions of increasing responsibility within sales, marketing, and management. While Mrs. Heinold is a working mom, she has remained very active volunteering for school events through the PTA as well as serving for the past 6 years on the Board of Education. She has served 3 years on the Finance, Facilities, and Transportation committees, and for her second term, serves on the Curriculum, Policy, and Personnel committees. During her tenure, the Board of Education has hired two superintendents, three buildings principals, a director of special services, and a supervisor of curriculum. Most recently, the district was recognized by the NJDOE as one of the state’s ‘high-performing’ districts, as the NJQSAC assessed Florham Park in five areas: Instruction and Programs, Fiscal Management, Governance, Operations, and Personnel. In all five areas, Florham Park was assessed between 90-96%, which is quite an accomplishment. Mrs. Heinold believes this continues to motivate the board, the administrators, and staff, to continue the growth mindset model to fuel the passion for learning. Mrs. Heinold takes great pride in her experience and contributions to the Florham Park Board of Education and is eager to continue to serve in making a difference in improving the educational impact on our children.

Stacey Sabatos
