WASHINGTON, DC — Youth and Family Services Division detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department and special agents from the FBI’s Child Exploitation and Human Trafficking Task Force accused a Southeast man of the sex trafficking of children, according to an MPD release.

Police say that between June 30 and Aug. 26, Taiwan Marquese Williams, 29, of Southeast, knowingly recruited, enticed, harbored, transported, provided, obtained, and maintained a relationship with a child for commercial sex acts.

On Wednesday, MPD arrested Williams and charged him with the sex trafficking of children.
