RENO, Nev. (KOLO) -The Reno Police Department arrested two men Thursday who allegedly thought they were offering to pay for sex with juveniles but were conversing with undercover officers.
Twasker Mouette Brown, 34, and Jose Reyes-Medina, 44, were both booked on charges of soliciting a child for prostitution and attempted child abuse. Police said the two were taken into custody without incident.
Three males were cited Thursday for arranging through the Internet to pay for sex and one was arrested because he did not qualify to simply receive a citation, police said Friday.
The operation was conducted through the Human Exploitation and Trafficking (HEAT) unit, police said.
HEAT targeted johns who were trying to pay for sex.
“Detectives were contacted by individuals via various online platforms and through their conversations, the individuals solicited to engage in sexual activity with the undercover detective, in exchange for money,” police said in a statement.
The four who went to the rendezvous location were met by police. Police did not release their names.
Police ask anyone with information about sex trafficking or prostitution to contact HEAT at 775 325-6470.

- Are they using social networking apps or other sites?
- Do you know who their followers are and who they follow?
- Have you talked to them about the responsible use of these apps?
- Do they know how to ignore/ report unwanted contacts?
