New law to require high school students pass civics test to graduate

Who wrote the declaration of independence? Can you name three of the original U.S. colonies?

Those are two of the one hundred questions on the test to become a United States citizen. It’s the same test high school seniors will soon have to take in order to graduate in Alabama.

The new state law says beginning in the 2018 school year, students must answer at least sixty of the questions correctly.
