A man has been charged over the possession of child abuse material in Sydney’s southwest.
In July detectives from the Child Abuse and Sex Crime Squad’s Child Exploitation Internet Unit began investigating a man who allegedly accessed and obtained child abuse material online.
The man’s home was raided and searched at Woodbine on August 26 and officers seized a mobile phone and electronic devices.
A 19-year-old man was arrested and charged with possessing child abuse material using carriage service and possessing child abuse material.
He was granted strict conditional bail to appear before Campbelltown Local Court on Monday.
