An Indianapolis police spokesman says one of two teenagers reported abducted at gunpoint has been found in the Detroit area.
Indianapolis police spokesman Rafael Diaz Jr. said Monday evening a 16-year-old male was freed uninjured from his alleged abductors after a chase by authorities. However, a 13-year-old female remains missing.
Police issued an Amber Alert on Monday for Aaron Blackwell and his sister, Emma. Diaz says investigators are now concentrating on finding her.
Officer Christopher Wilburn says the teens were last seen at 3 a.m. Monday at their home on Indianapolis’ east side. Wilburn says an unknown male abducted them. Authorities later said the teens could be in the Detroit area.
Diaz says he has no details on who or how many people are being questioned by Michigan investigators in connection with the case.
