A new online parenting course is about to begin to help moms and dads manage stay-at-home family dynamics in the COVID-19 pandemic.
The eight-week course is called Sidestepping the Power Struggle. It will start virtually on Zoom on Jan. 20 and run for eight consecutive Wednesdays from 7 to 9 p.m.
The course is designed to offer parents strategies to avoid power struggles and create more harmony at home, states a press release from the John Howard Society of Peterborough (which is offering the course).
Thanks to a grant from the United Way, the course is being offered for half price ($62.50) for anyone living in the city or County of Peterborough. The cost is normally $125 per person.
Online registration is still open at https://sidesteppingnight.eventbrite.ca
