The Altoona Police Department is attempting to locate a missing runaway child.

Police said Alona Lyles, 14, did not go to school

Dec. 17 and has not been there since after being last seen at about 11:30 p.m. Dec.16.

Lyles is described as a 5-foot-4, 125-pound Black female with black shoulder-length hair. Her clothing description is unknown.

Anyone with information on Lyles’ whereabouts is asked to contact the Altoona Police Department at 814-949-2490.
