School bus driver accused of sex assault of disabled teen

A school bus driver is accused of sexually assaulting a disabled 15-year-old girl in Richmond Hill.

York Regional Police say a 62-year-old man is facing several charges after allegedly sexually assaulting the teen, who was the last passenger to be dropped off.

Police say a parent filed the report on Tuesday.

Hamid Mohaghegh Montazeri, of Richmond Hill, was arrested on Wednesday and is charged with sexual assault, sexual interference, invitation to sexual touching, and sexual exploitation of a person with a disability.

Police say the accused is known to have operated a school bus for the past five years and have released his photo.

He is to appear in court in Newmarket on Oct. 17
