“There has been a safety report that we have reported to police,” school administrators said in a message to parents around 7 a.m.
“The police have confirmed that there is no active threat at school,” the school said in a letter to parents shortly after 8 a.m.
While the report was for the 8th grade/high school campus located on Armour Street, the school initially delayed classes for both its campus, including the school on Griffith Street. Shortly after announcing the delay, however, the school said classes would be canceled and students would be given e-learning assignments for the day.
