Michigan’s season, as well as the college careers of Zavier Simpson and Jon Teske, ended abruptly two weeks ago. It was jarring conclusion to what was otherwise a fascinating season — the first of Juwan Howard’s tenure in Ann Arbor.Now comes Year 2 and, more and more, the program will grow in Howard’s likeness. We’re taking a look at Michigan’s 2020-21 roster today and you’ll notice there are more players than scholarships available. Below you’ll see 14 players for 13 scholarship spots. Doesn’t take a math major to see the issue. Clearly, something has to give, whether it’s a transfer, an early entry to the draft or some creativity.
