Hashem Abedi, 22, from Fallowfield, Manchester, who is of Libyan heritage, appeared before the Old Bailey in London on Thursday for a plea and case management hearing.
No pleas were entered during the court hearing and the judge, Mr Justice Baker, adjourned the case until October 22nd.
Hashem Abedi is charged with 22 counts of murder, attempted murder and a charge that he conspired with his brother to cause an explosion likely to endanger life.
He has been remanded in custody.
His brother, Salman Abedi, killed himself and 22 others when he detonated a bomb in his backpack in the foyer of Manchester Arena on May 22nd 2017, following a concert by Ariana Grande.
