A Sydney dance teacher has been charged with allegedly sexually assaulting a student a decade ago in the city’s south west.
The 35-year-old man was arrested at a home in Harrington Park yesterday after an investigation into allegations of sexual assault between 2011 and 2012 was launched in June.

Officers executed a search warrant at the home and seized electronic devices which will “undergo further forensic examination”, NSW Police said.

Police allege the teacher sexually abused a male student when the boy was aged between nine and 11.

The man was charged with two counts of aggravated indecent assault at Narellan Police Station.

He was granted bail and will appear at Picton Local Court on Tuesday November 9.
