An elementary school teacher in Pennsylvania was arrested after he allegedly threatened to shoot school district officials because janitors removed a plastic barrier he set up in his classroom to protect against the spread of COVID-19.

Chad Gerrick, a teacher at Sinking Springs Elementary School in York, was arrested and charged with one misdemeanor count of terroristic threats.

Gerrick allegedly went ballistic after a janitor removed his makeshift Covid-19 barrier and was suspended by the school pending an investigation.

The criminal complaint affidavit filed by Northern York County Regional Police detailed that a cafeteria worker overheard Gerrick threaten to “shoot all them f—–s” at the district’s administrative offices.

The 50-year-old educator also allegedly threatened to “come to school and spread COVID to everyone I can” if he ended up infected with the virus, the police document reportedly added.
