DELRAY BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2021 MetroDesk Media, LLC) (News App readers use link to see full report) — A woman who claims to be a teacher in the Palm Beach County School District is facing serious criminal charges filed by the Boynton Beach Police Department.

Beth Rudolph told police she is a PBSD teacher and her LinkedIn page state the same. However, there is no record of her in the current school district staff directory.

Rudolph was allegedly involved in swindling $48,200 from someone in Pasco County. She allegedly obtained a cashier’s check and deposited it in her account in a Boynton Beach bank. Rudolph, according to bank records, then withdrew small amount funds from her account over several days.

To add international intrigue to the bank fraud, Police later learned she was converting the funds to BitCoin and sending them to Cuba. She was, according to a police report, receiving a commission each time she sent funds.

Beth Rudolph is charged with “grand theft” and “cash or deposit with intent to defraud.” She was booked into the Palm Beach County Jail on Tuesday and later released on $6,000 bond. It was not immediately clear if she will face federal charges due to the allegations of sending stolen funds overseas.
