A teacher in central Florida was arrested for fighting a group of students in the parking lot of a McDonald’s from which she’d just been removed.

NBC News reports educator Liquindella Clark faces charges of child abuse after the fisticuffs, which occurred Friday night when she hit one student in the face and punched another in the head outside the Bartow, Fla., fast food eatery where a verbal altercation had taken place.

That clash was reportedly the continuation of an incident involving Clark’s teenage child that began at a nearby high school basketball game. It isn’t clear how or if the episode would affect Clark’s teaching status. She teaches sixth-grade math in Polk County, local outlet the Ledger reports.
