Officers with the force’s sexual assault and child abuse section began an investigation Jan. 16 into an allegation of an inappropriate relationship between a teacher and a student at the west London school.
Dustin Epp, 45, of London was arrested Friday and later charged with sexual exploitation of a young person.
Officials with the Thames Valley District school board said Monday Epp was “immediately suspended pending the results of the police investigation.”
Epp received his teaching degree in 1999 and is qualified to teach intermediate and senior math, science and physics, the Ontario College of Teachers says.
Epp is scheduled to appear in court March 3, police said.
Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call London police at 519-661-5670.
