A juvenile and two adults are facing drug charges after a bust at a Friday night football game.
According to Detective Aaron Herring with Whiteville Police Vice Narcotics Unit, officials made a drug bust at a football game at Legion Stadium in Whiteville.
Herring said an officer noted a 14-year-old boy was noticeably impaired leaving the stadium. The boy then got into a car and was seen rolling a marijuana cigarette.
Herring said two adults–Russ Bellamy, 34, and Amanda May, 32, came to the car.
Officers then searched the car and found a purse in the trunk with 2 grams of heroin. Officials also found 2.3 grams of cocaine, 4 grams of marijuana and alcohol.
Herring said all three passengers were under the influence of alcohol.
Bellamy and May are charged with felony possession within 1,000 feet of school property, felony maintaining a vehicle to keep a controlled substance, felony possession of cocaine and felony possession of schedule I controlled substance.
