A TEENAGER convicted of possessing a Class B drug has re-offended less than six months later.

Edson Cardoso was charged with having a quantity of cannabis in his possession in Turners Hill on December 6, to which he pleaded guilty at Crawley Magistrates’ Court on New Year’s Eve.

The 19-year-old, of Allwood Close in Sydenham, London, also admitted breaching a 12-month conditional discharge imposed for a previous offence of drug possession in June last year.

He was sentenced to a 24-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £100 in costs.
