Teen drug use program scheduled

Community leaders and law enforcement agencies in Carteret County are partnering to present a program to create awareness about substance abuse among teens.

The program, When Love Isn’t Enough, will be held at 7 p.m. Sept. 16 in the auditorium at West Carteret High School in Morehead City.

Matt Knight, a special agent with Alcohol Law Enforcement (ALE) will be the featured speaker, according to the program announcement.

The program is designed for middle and high school students and their families as well as those who work and spend time with youth, such as church leaders, counselors and community members.
