The next episode of “Teen Mom 2” airs tonight (Sept. 3), and viewers will be updated on Leah Messer’s troubled situation.
In last week’s episode, the 23-year-old left for rehab to get help with a slew of personal problems, although she flat out denied that she was going for drugs. At one point, Leah’s ex-husband Corey Simms said that he didn’t believe her and accused the reality star of being dishonest.
In fact, he recently took to Twitter and opened up about the alleged drug use.
Apparently, there were some people on social media who questioned whether the young dad was wrong for asking Leah about her personal problems.
“I don’t know why I’m tweeting this, because I honestly do not care what people think or what they say about me,” he wrote. “But anyways, there is a lot of things that has been told to us by very close members of her family that lead us to believe the things being told are very much true.”
Simms also said that he’s only trying to protect his daughters, and he’s not accusing Leah of drug use to be mean or spiteful. He also thanked those on Twitter who’ve given him and his wife Miranda support.
“If we didn’t care about the girls or the situation, we would obviously not have anything to say or do about it,” he wrote.
“[The] reason for everything that Miranda and myself have said or done, we simply want the girls to grow up in a safe and healthy environment. Thank you to the people who understand and to the people that don’t, well that just sucks now don’t it?” added Corey.
