Teenage driver caught on drugs | Port Lincoln Times | #parents | #teensvaping

A teenage driver without a licence tested positive to drugs just after 3pm on Sunday afternoon.

Police stopped the driver on Hecla Street for a mobile driver test, where the 16-year-old Port Lincoln local tested positive to both methamphetamine and cannabis.

Further checks showed he has never held a driver’s licence.

The vehicle was impounded for 28 days, and the teen was directed not to drive indefinitely and may be charged with drug driving once test results are returned.
