TPS Board of Education to vote on superintendent’s recommendations for possible return to school | #Education

TULSA, Okla. — Tulsa Public Schools Board of Education is set to vote on Superintendent Dr. Deborah Gist’s recommendation for how school will continue in November.

The recommendation includes three different options, all depending on if COVID-19 cases get better, remain stable or get worse. CLICK HERE to see the three scenarios, depending on COVID-19 numbers, Dr. Gist recommended to the board.

Gist recommended if coronavirus conditions remain stable or improve, the district recommends carefully phasing students back to in-person learning beginning on Monday, Nov. 9. This is pending approval by the school board.

The TPS Board of Education is voting on Dr. Gist’s recommendations on Tuesday, Oct. 13 at 6:30 p.m.
