WINSTON COUNTY, Ala. — Double Springs Police Chief Kim Miller confirms that Chase Cantrell, 29, was arrested around 10 a.m. Monday morning.
Cantrell is facing charges of a school employee engaging in a sexual act with a student, statutory rape, and third degree burglary.
The victim is under the age of 16. Double Springs police say Cantrell allegedly entered the home through the child’s window while the family was at home.
