They’re the reigning Miss Pumpkin Fair and Miss Watermelon Street Fair queens, respectively.
The two young leaders recently teamed up to collect over 200 pairs of jeans for the Jeans 4 Teens Drive, which is part of the Ray of Hope Children’s Crisis and Resource Services.
The local non-profit provides the basic needs to young people who are either homeless, living in poverty, or undergoing some sort of crisis circumstances.
Dominguez and Nava were praised for their efforts.
“It’s this example that will make the change needed in our community,” said Ray of Hope via social media.
As for Manteca Youth Focus, this part of the mission of developing young leaders in pursuit of higher education along with the development of their personal talents and service throughout the community.
